This chapter provides information and recommendations for
deploying the iTivity iManager software. The iManager runs only on Windows.
The iTivity iManager runs on the Windows platforms described
below. The iManager can be installed onto any system that has network access to
the iManager connection port on the iServer. This includes the iServer computer
itself.

In large deployments, with as many as 1000 connections, it
can take significant time for the iManager to download and display all of the
connections in the left-hand pane.
One means of preventing this problem is the deployment of support
domains, as explained in Section 1.3 of this guide. Proper
configuration of support domains limits the number on connections that are
accessible to any one iManager user.
