iTivity remote development and administration software enables independent software vendors (ISVs) and system integrators to access HPUX systems from anywhere. iTivity provides secure, audited access across the Internet and across firewalls so that you can quickly update and enhance applications running on HPUX systems. With iTivity you can login securely, view and control X Windows desktops, transfer files and remotely control the TTYs on your customers' HPUX servers and desktops.
HP 9000 servers deployed at your customers' places of business can be accessed immediately when the iTivity agent is installed and running. By installing the iTivity agent to remain connected to the iTivity iServer, you can remotely access your customer's HPUX systems at night and on weekends. Having secure access outside of business hours allows you to easily apply changes and updates without interrupting customer business processes.
iTivity's unique self-hosted design allows you to maintain central control of remote access and critical log files. Former employees can be blocked from accessing your customers' systems. Audit logs showing who connected to which customer systems are maintained on your hardware in your place of business.
With iTivity's concurrent licensing model, you pay only for the connections that you really use.
iTivity software supports HP UX OS releases 11i v3, 11i v2, 11i v1, 11.31, 11.23 and 11.11.
