Linux Remote Support Questions

1. Which platforms can I use to provide remote support with iTivity?

You can run the iTivity Technician iManager to provide remote support from your Linux or Windows desktop system. The iManager supports many Linux distributions, including Ubuntu, RedHat, SuSe, Fedora and CentOS.

2. What platforms can I support using iTivity?

The iTivity Customer iAgent allows you to provide direct support for Windows, Linux, AIX, HP-UP and Solaris. The iAgent allows you to provide support to a wide range of Linux distros, including Ubuntu, RedHat, SuSe, Fedora and CentOS.

3. Can I provide support from Windows to Linux or Linux to Windows?

Yes to both! iTivity provides cross-platform remote access from either Linux or Windows to any supported Customer iAgent platform.

4. Can I access the Linux console desktop with iTivity?

Yes, the iTivity iAgent automatically detects the Linux graphical desktop and provides easy remote viewing.

Another satisfied iTivity customer...

"Welch Allyn needed a highly secure and robust tool to troubleshoot medical equipment at a customer's site. The feature I like the most about this product includes the security model which makes managing the solution easy. I like the ease of use, to deliver and install, as it provides our support team quick and seamless access to target systems and finally, I like the cross platform support."
